Why You Should Not Make Friends With A Talkative -Pastor Adeboye Recently Reveals This To Members.
I recently watched a video on YouTube where Pastor E. A. Adeboye reminded us about the beauty of silence. He mentioned that being talkative doesn’t necessarily make someone wise, so it’s important to choose friends wisely.
In a sermon last Sunday, Pastor E. A. Adeboye shared a timeless piece of wisdom that many found relatable. He emphasized that wise individuals tend to be quiet, while fools often speak too much. He suggested that we take a closer look at our relationships with people who often speak without thinking.
The main idea is pretty straightforward: people who talk a lot might not have the same level of deep thinking that comes with quiet contemplation. I’m not saying that everyone who talks a lot is foolish. Instead, I want to emphasize how crucial it is to choose our companions wisely.
In addition, Pastor Adeboye cautions that people who constantly talk without anything meaningful to say might unintentionally expose your secrets. There are two important points to consider here. First, we should be careful about sharing confidential information with people who tend to talk too much. Second, we should also take some time to think about how we communicate ourselves.
According to him, “We have learnt about the beauty of silence because we said wise people are usually quiet and a fool is known by the multitude of words. I’m sure since last Sunday you probably must have been re-examining your relationship with some talkative people. They shouldn’t be your friends because if they have nothing else to say in any case they are likely to reveal your secrets as they talk.”
